Get Into Manatee County Florida Attractions

Welcome to our world we’re here on the island of Anna Maria long book key and on the mainland areas of brain tuna. Lakewood Ranch, I’m Jessica, grace come with me as we explore. What makes this place so very special and a little bit of a taste of the old real Florida there’s nearly a hundred years ago that Anna Maria Island was actually discovered by its first visitors. They would come over from Tampa Bay by boat and come here to the historic Anna Maria Island City, Pier the island itself. Today really has a lot of qualities and characteristics that really remind people of the old Florida and what it was like back then.

Today, Anna Maria Island remains a quaint throwback to old Florida with its sugar white sand, beaches, historic fishing, piers, mom-and-pop shops and eateries and classic beach resorts. It’s here on the island that I really feel relaxed to the south of Anna Maria Island lies her sophisticated cousin, Longboat Key known for its 11 mile stretch of white sand, beach, luxurious vacation homes, high-fashion shopping golfing biking and boating, and outdoor dining, I’m off to lunch. With Edie Giles owner of the Mar Vista restaurant on Longboat Key, well, there’s a lot of things that are special about the island and what waterfront dining is. Certainly one of them we’re fortunate to have some really great places, wonderful traditions and histories to them. Some that have been around for a hundred years, so what some of the local catch the fish that can be found here on the area.

Local fish is grouper. Here we get a lot of Dolphin. We get some pompano which a wonderful delicacy. Our shrimp is great. Conch lobsters so lots and lots of good choices for seafood.

The north end of Longboat Key, where Mar Vista is located, is also my pick for where to stay on the island. I’M quite fond of the locals here on the mainland. Historic Bradenton is the place to enjoy art, theater sports outlet, shopping, downtown, festival’s, history, nature and my personal favorite snooty, the manatee. He is believed to be the oldest living manatee in the world. Snooty was sad to see me go, but now we are heading to our County’s newest community Lakewood Ranch for some shopping and international cuisine.

Main Street Lakewood Ranch is home to more than 30 boutiques, including the Florida based Chico’s, where I’m going to go. Try on some new outfits score next, I’m going to take you to the coolest place where I’m gonna do a tasting of wine. You ask no olive oil, hello, oh hey! There welcome to Katy raise off! Thank you.

So tell me, livid about your store. You’ve got some olive oils and vinegars yeah. I’ve got all of our small over the world and how does having that it gets from Italy. Why don’t you, as you can see, from the barrier islands to the mainland communities, this Florida destination is brimming with island culture. You
